Pretty much agree with you John. The two keys are

1. OL play, they will need a big improvement there to cash in on the
apparent new offensive talent

2. Weak schedule

The weak schedule may not be such a blessing, either, if it falsely raises
hopes. 8-8 or even 7-9 will look like nirvana compared to the last two
years. But the 49ers had a couple of seasons between Mooch and Harbaugh
where it looked like they were making progress only to backslide.

Sounds a bit rosy on the performances of the players, especially
Hoyer.

Staley's getting towards the end of his career and the rest of the
line isn't exactly top tier. They'll have to do a lot of improving to
be average. There's also the running game, or lack thereof. When
they did open holes, the idiots were running into everything but the
holes.

What did you think of last year's schedule? Carolina, the Seachickens
twice and the Titans look like the hardest part of this year's
schedule.

Niners told me I lost my rights to buy season tickets when I didn't
renew this year. I just laughed and hung up the phone.

Joe Montana casts shadow of doubt on Colin Kaepernick's NFL career

Get past the racist bullshit couched in whether teams want or don't
want him based on where he'll kneel during the anthem. It's simply a
matter of showing some damn interest in the job.

In this he's done nothing. He's not interested in playing, fine. There
are other more important things that a man can do with his life.
That's a personal decision.

If he were to dedicate time to polishing his skills and working out,
he'd get plenty of attention.

" You weren't on the team for very long. You have to have people who
want the same thing, fighting for the same thing and willing to put in
the time." Joe
