Can the giants have the best record in baseball this year, after the all star break?

I wish. but at least this year they will be playing the team that has the all star game, before the game, only in SF.

Not with Cain pitching.

I was wondering how long it'd take you to figure out your mistake. :-D

Don't remember Stratton doing all that well in the minors and his stat
line shows it in Detroit. 6 hits, 5 runs, 5 earned runs, 5 BB's 1 K
and 1 HR in the first 3 innings. After 6.2 innings, Crick is in.

Giants get 2 runs back in the 6th after Panik's triple and a Pence
grounder.

Giants 2 Tigers 5

Crick gives 1 back and the Giants continue to revert to the team they
were before the "streak" started and ended at 6 games.

Giants 2 Tigers 6

Cain and Stratton. What do you expect? At least the Rockies lost
again.

Doesn't much fit with the subject, Wayne. Other than Bumgarner
getting roasted by minor league teams, not much good news.

That was a problem from the start of the season. While it's true he
hasn't had that much practice, he's been suseptible to the HR bug.

So Bumgarner getting roasted is good news???

no, no bowling in the Summer for me. Also when I used to have season tickets, and they were going to have an all star game years ago. they changed it, and told the marlins they would have to have a roofed stadium. At this point So many years later, and I no longer have season tickets. I am not going. Will watch on TV. If 4 or 5 giants were on the team, I might have gone. I hope Posey has the game winning hit, but I am more afraid that he is going to get hurt. He is very popular in Florida, as he was one of the most popular college baseball players ever.

So are you telling me you're the only Posey hater in Florida? LOL.

Come on, don't lie to us. You don't want Posey to have the game
winning hit. You want him to hit into a double play and have zero RBI.
Everyone knows that. :-D

Given that he'll likely be gone after the 3rd inning, chance of game
winning hit is small.

You had *Marlins* season tix? You should be ashamed of yourself. :-D

And no wonder the Marlins kept beating the Giants in the playoff back
then! You're the jinx! And what the heck does season tix have to do
with all-star game?

I guess you'd only go if Cain is an all-star. LOL.

Tell Stanton to hire Cain as his HR Derby pitcher. Guaranteed win!

Johnson's performance filling in for Mike Krukow was not well-received.

Cueto, one of the extra infielders and throw in one our excellent
outfielders. Thing is, he's another 3rd baseman. How many do the
Giants need at that spot?
