So the conclusion is that governments can take on debt infinitely?

Nah doug - did you actually read it? Conclusion was more like "there doesn't seem to be a strong correlation between gdp growth and debt:gdp ratio".

Cheers.

Thinking about it more this seems like an exceedingly dumn smuggling plot. I can't imagine how they planned to retrieve all that pot at the end for sale. Well, turns out they couldn't/didn't.

Past policy decisions are one reason Trump was elected. Responsible
people were fed up with socialistic, immoral policies.

A return to long-cherished policies would be a more accurate
statement. Unfortunately this appears to be an era when such a return
will require overkill.

I dunno. Maybe a Chinese prison, maybe luxury house arrest, maybe left in place as puppet figureheads. I don't really care, it'll be China's problem. Whatever they want.

Find a hollow log, drive nails at an angle around the opening, put
something shiny beyond the points - the coon will grasp the shiny
object and won't let go thereby trapping himself.

Conclusion: Hillary was the shiny object.
