In the Charlie Chaplin movie, The Great Dictator, there are interspersed scenes where a volunteer is presented in front of Hinkel with the latest development from his war department - a bullet-proof vest, a parachute in the helmet and so on. Each time they fail horribly to the death of the volunteer. At the bottom of the pitcher section, there is a remarkable similarity. Welcome to the big leagues, Hector. Join the other failed experiments...

Bogaerts has definitely sacrificed power in favor of contact this season. I don't know why he's changed his approach, but it's working and he seems to be the perfect lead-off guy for the Sox this year. Mookie profiles as the perfect #3 guy. It took months for Farrell to get the lineup straight last year, so I don't know why this year would be any different.
