Lakers had several chances late to take the win, but came short and lost in OT.
6 guys in DFs with DDs from Kuz/Ju/Hart. Lakers out-shot MIL, but MIL made 3
more 3s and 5 more FTs to outweigh the 3 more Laker makes for the W.
122-124 Lakers lose by 2.

I hate when they bring back previous failures to run things. Sure he won a cup but little if any sign he could rebuild this team, especially when he laid the groundwork for Montreal's decades of gloom.

As I lounge around a cruise ship in the South Pacific ;)

Of course I only wanted to compare the two for someone who might want
to switch. I'm not sure the other instances you mentioned are
pertinent.

Nothing is safer for me - I still have most of my hydrocodone left
over from bypass surgery in 1996 and a tooth extraction a few years
ago. I had rather have a little pain than get hooked. Too many people
think it doesn't matter if you are 80+ years old. I think it does.

I think that gets us to science arguing with reality.

I read where numerous people get pain relief from marijuana. Plus I
know of at least 2 instances where users have orally communicated the
fact that it helped.

Yes the G league salary is caped at 26k. However he will sign with an agent and get money from him and will also sign some kind of shoe deal. all that applies to Europe as well, and honestly the exposure and name rec building in both is probably a wash. I cant name any/many 18-23 players in Europe(except people like the soon to be top 3 draft pick), but the same can be said for the g league...

>Would he have made more going to Europe? Probably. but then he would be >playing against men in Europe, while in the G league he will be playing with players in their early 20's.

And in college he would have been playing against even younger players.

And a lot would have depended with what European league he signed with. lots of variance between them.

That said, I don't know the best route for the gap year for these type of players. Like I said for a bagley/Ayton type it doesn't matter what they do. But for a kid like this(who definitely has lottery pick potential in 2019 but it isn't a sure thing that he goes lottery) I'm not sure what the best route is. I think college will be what the majority of them will do...

I used Turbo Tax for a few years, and then switched to the H&R
Block package--probably 10-15 years ago. Both were for Windows.
The latter worked just fine, and in fact I had the whole process
down to just a couple of hours.

I've used a service the last few years, ever since my mom died and
left me a number of various types of investments. I just didn't
want to take the time to be sure I was getting it right on my own,
and have been pretty satisfied with paying someone else to do it.

I have worked to uncomplicate my taxes. Almost all income is earned

Does it strike you that, given how they've always done it, what the
phrase "German efficiency" means is, "works really well if outsiders are
watching but otherwise lies, steals and kills"(?) Historically, this
would appear to be a society that can't be trusted to deal honestly
unless it's constantly under observation.

While I'm sure they're not all like that they do have a record of
promoting to positions of authority persons who model that mindset.

Should the EPA do what? After luring the krauts, snaring them, making
them buy their way out and then laughing at them while you change the

So carbon dioxide is so toxic, right? Oh, the oceans will rise and we will all drown in 200 years ..

Lol

Pruitt's public policy considerations seem very sound.
Bad for climate change cocksuckers, that's true. But hey, elections have consequences!

Almost all are like that. Actually they still would love to gas people like you and your Guppy sidekick. That's in their genes. And on top of that they sent you this blond girl who beat up all your countrywomen!
Nasty krauts!!

Lol

Because they do that objectively (relative to other ideological groups) they (will eventually realize they) are libertarians. For example, most libertarians realize people act primarily in their self-interest, or what they believe to be in their best interest. Precisely because they accept that as a fact they understand it's best to minimize the concentration of power, aka government power. Maximum individual liberty, with a government merely to protect that individual liberty. It makes perfect sense (if you think about it objectively).

If libertarians realize that people act primarily in their self-interest
the minimization of power would seem to guarantee that only the most
powerful individuals would survive. If only the most powerful survive
there is neither a society nor maximum individual liberty since there
would be fewer individuals.

Your assumption that only the most powerful survive is flawed since in a free society, with minimal government, the only way people get rich is by serving others. And if the only way people can get money/power is by serving others in voluntarily exchange it is unlikely they end up alone. Your description works better in a socialist/communist/totalitarian type of system. In fact, that is what you see all around the world if you care to look.

That's one of the most irrationally idealistic things anybody'll ever
read here. It's so detached from any possible reality I can't even begin
to imagine what you're saying.

Except for that in Agassi's case winning ugly meant spinning more and
bigger margins. That wasn't Djok's peak game.

Djok now does play with bigger margins, does much less with the ball.
The results are horrible.

Yes, good to see him gone. Hope he didn't give a schmaltzy farewell speech.
