city of detroit a few yrs ago declared bankrupcy, the largest gov't
bankrupcy ever i believe. they told people to leave, to go find jobs
in texas and elsewhere. and they did. 2mil population lost 2/3 of it.
and they're better for it now, as are those who left.

Good point. And not only did Trump write off his debts and made others
to take the losses - he also got a billion dollar tax break for that...

You were the one who brought up Buffalo in the first place, said it was
"way northern NY" (lol) and that Pelle had erroneously referred to it as
upstate new york (he said nothing about Buffalo)... These are all your
claims, nobody else said Buffalo wasn't in upstate NY.

I think you're in need of a checkup bob, watching someone go through the
onset of senility is not fun for anyone :(

NY is pretty much metro NYC and "upstate" NY that includes everything
else. buffalo is far north of NYC, and i consider anything N of albany
as "northern NY." but choose any def'n you like jed!

lol. i think you need a day off, you're struggling today. seem upset
over something, probably not RST related so i feel bad egging you on.

bob, your memory is failing you again. *You* claimed that Buffalo was
not upstate new york. I'm glad you've educated yourself now but in the
future do so before opening your mouth and "correcting" others.

that's an incredible lie. i claimed tha
t it was in northern NY, i said nothing about "upstate" NY and buffalo
as a term. everybody knows that somewhere shortly out of NYC, you are
"in" upstate NY.

that was the mistake of the OP, at least how i interpreted what was
written, and so corrected it . a thank you woulda been good enough.

You hadn't heard of universal basic income (and I'm not in favor of it)
but claimed to support Bernie? :)

Did you have any principles this last election besides "I HATE HILLARY!" ?

i understand bernie wanted a $15 minimum wage, and clinton claimed to
want $12 (well until bernie shamed her in a debate i was watching). i
watched every debate and don't recall him using the phrase "universal
basic income" ever. minimum wage - every day.

so, what does that have to do with "universal basic income"?

>Did you have any principles this last election besides "I HATE HILLARY!" ?

many. and most of them lead to "i hate hillary!"

Sounds like a past tense to me. At least you're not up to date on what

propaganda/apologist one.

I'm afraid you got it all wrong. Mainstream media is called 'mainstream'
because it isn't fringe. Fringe is often lunacy and propaganda while
mainstream media serves facts, the real news.

Here's something good Mr. Trump did: saved the world from the Trans-Pacific

Huge.

i'm appalled at the democratic party for choosing somebody like

mainstream is mainstream because they have the control, the money. and
they're planning on keeping it.

the paris agreement is a P*ssy's answer to the problem. which is what
sickens me about those "claiming victory" with the "paris deal."

if you REALLY cared about the environment, you'd have been hollering
for the past 20 years about this issue and finding obama's weak and
late push, very strictly timed for political reasons, sickening. which
i did.

You're mixing the terms 'mainstream' and 'establishment'. And your
argument still doesn't change the fact that mainstream media reports
real news unlike your alt-right propaganda sources.

TPP would strip the USA of power and let trade lawsuits be decided in
other countries, - suits that the american taxpayer might have to pay
out.

and at best, it would benefit just the execs at huge american corps,
nobody else.

and hillary supported it strongly - of course since she was bought and
paid to do so BY these huge corps.

you don't live here and you don't see mainstream news sources here.

they're not giving news. they're in a war with the elected
administration. they're giving everything - every bit of "news" they
have - with a terribly biased anti administration slant. they could go
the other way and give it all with a positive slant, like they did
with other presidents, but why bother? why not just give it to us
straight.

I'm close to 100% certain than Muller will find lots of stuff since he
seems to be really serious about it and competent. And I'm full 100%
certain that there's lots of stuff Trump can be caught on.

which means what exactly? that the russians had dirt on hillary? that
hillary allowed herself to be hacked at home? that podesta fell for
phishing? perfect!

what do you think politicians do for a living? they DIG DIRT on their
opponents! are you really of this world?

collusion OTOH would be, "hey vladimir, if you can dig dirt on hillary
and it gets me elcted, i promise i will give you the technology to
our latest missile technology and for good measure a dirt cheap tdeal
on half our texas crude."

when you find THAT email, let me know.

you ever seen obamna, btw, telling medvedev, he can be more flexible
now that his last election is over? it's on youtube. "collusion???"

mueller has already gone off scope and a grand jury has the ability to
research things that are WAY off the scope and original intent of the
investigation.

and after all this time, still no collusion. waste of time/money.
