yes, he made them by being too scared to play.

Not until he wins on Friday and on Sunday. Any of the four can win W! It is not meant to be for Andy this year though.

If he wins W, skipping FO would be seen as a wonderful decision.

It's a wonderful decision even if he doesn't win. Skip the mud-wrestling and maximize chances at a slam that matters.
"Ted S." <fedya@hughes.net>: Jul 12 07:50PM -0400

Andy Murray.

Eh, he'll lose the ranking in a few weeks when the Olympics points come
off, and almost certainly after the US Open. And it's not as though
anybody has had a particularly dominant last 12 months.

If he scalps the 8th, W2008 loss would be no big deal.

He said it when he was asked about being the favorite.

Well all three of those things are objectively true. He didn't say he thought they were better players.
Garvin Yee <drsmith004@gmail.com>: Jul 12 12:28PM -0700

Wow, he's back!

Astounding at 35 to still be winning Slams like this, and beating
all the younger players.

Truly the Mozart of Tennis.

Perhaps the GOAT!

Gawd, could we wait on the congratulations? The Great Man has a long way to

It doesn't look good for the Birdman, especially considering how
well Roger is playing at the moment:

http://www.atpworldtour.com/en/players/fedex-head-2-head/roger-federer-vs-tomas-berdych/F324/BA47

Not good for Cilic either:

Or Querrey:

Courty would like to announce to RST (with a heavy heart) that Novak Djokovic of Serbia, world #2, has retired in his quarter-finals match against Thomas Berdych of the CR... Links for donations will be forthcoming and all those seeking safe spaces are asked to make inquiries to Court_1 via email.

Cilic has looked good and he surely can play superb stuff - out of reach for 35y Fed?

I have to admit that Federer looks fit and fast.

Federer was in no shape to play Wimbledon last year.

Fed needs to serve a high percentage of first serves in. Berd will go after his second serve.

Cilic did not look so good today. Querrey has a decent chance of taking him out.

If Fed plays as well as he did today, he is winning it. But he cannot afford to have a bad day at the office.
