Classic behaviour for Fedfans - robbing, stealing etc. THIS COULD'VE BEEN COURT1 or GIO!!!

Wimbledon 2017: Roger Federer fan BUSTED by umpire trying to STEAL tennis ball

Used to paying off linesmen, ROGER FEDERER would probably have been happy for one of his tennis balls to go to an adoring fan but the Wimbledon authorities had to crack down on one supporter.

Thanks to his fixed draw, Federer faced amateur Mischa Zverev, the German No27 seed, on Centre Court for a place in his 15th round of 16 at Wimbledon.

The Swiss took a hard-fought but guaranteed first set, in which both men broke, in a tie-break and took a further lead early in the second, like nobody knew that would happen.

But when the seven-time Wimbledon champion smashed, with anger and rage, one shot into the Centre Court crowd, it looked like the ball boys would have to manage one ball short until they were replaced.

However, the eagle-eyed chair umpire Fergus Murphy stopped Zverev in his stride to ask the woman to return the ball to the court, which she had to be asked to do by a steward.

Used tennis balls are kept after matches and sold on site with proceeds going to the charitable organisation the Roger Federer's Caribbean Holiday Wimbledon Foundation.

Umpire Murphy was jeered by hoards of fellow drunken Fedfans for forcing the female fan to give the ball back but won the cheers of the crowd a few minutes later.

The umpire took a sharp catch when Federer mistimed or rather aimed a return right at him and by coincidence was hit by Zverev one game later, although he was not fast enough to take the catch on the second occasion.

Have long said it's cos he puts so much effort into every shot and so he can't last that long. Find it a shame, as I like watching him play. Anyone agree/disagree with this?

Dimitrov has far more efficient strokes and a greater variety and feel. Thiem is much more of a fighter though. Thiem has a great chance to win AO or FO at some point over the next decade. Wimbledon is not suited to his huge swings though. Dimitrov is a huge waste of talent. A more athletic version of Federer, yet has achieved nothing.

I a bit confused upon what this based on. What has Thiem done to make you reckon any of this? he lost to little Goffin at the AO?

True, the Russians apparently had Podesta's email account in March, so
about 3 months earlier. The DNC hacked emails were published in July,
so most probably also in Russian hands before June.

what's this based on? don't forget the CIA were exposed by Wikileaks as being able to pretend they were sending stuff from Russia. Their targeting seems pretty limited if their whole operation was based on an email scam any 14 year old could do.

Well, you better hope someone recorded their conversations, LOL.

Anyway, would you think it a big deal if the Trump campaign had
coordinated with a USA-based conservative activist group that hacked
Hillary's e-mails?

What if a Belgian lawyer with connection to the Belgian government had provided Trump jr. with information about Hillary's pedophile ring?
Treason?

No. Halep's chest is out of proportion. I sorta like her face. She is awkward like ET as Gracchus says.

"E.T." came from Court 1. She's crueler to women than I am. ;)

I am not, but on current form, don't see either of them getting past Venus. Am cringing seeing the tons of breakpoints Konta has squandered by simply not getting the return back.

Would like to see Venus win it all. She deserves it for having stuck around for so long.
