Truman became President less than a month before Germany surrendered. Patton was promoted to General 2 days after Truman took office. About 6 months after that Patton died. I don't think Truman held Patton back very much.

Patton wanted to keep going and take Moscow. Mac Arthur want to make
Manchuria glow.

Likely a majority of the chatrum. But with the exception of about a half dozen who feel the continuing need to pimp for Dolt 45, most are smart enough to lay low and not broadcast their mistake to the world.

Given the world view of Trump, you must think American conservatives are the world's most elite intellectual subset.

You misspelled 'effete.'

Kathy Griffin fired. Alex Jones offered $1,000 to "anyone who is
seen on TV with a 'CNN is ISIS' t-shirt or sign."

CNN canceled Reza Aslan's show. Azlan---who has eaten human brain
on live television---called Trump a "piece of shit" and an
"embarrassment to humankind."

CNN helps stage protest in London.

CNN ran a story on June 6 that claimed former FBI Director James
Comey would use his testimony the next day to refute Trump's
claim that Comey had assured him three separate times that he was
not under FBI investigation. That story was debunked the same day
when Comey's prepared remarks were released to the public,
showing that Comey would actually confirm, rather than refute,
Trump's assertion.

CNN.com published, deleted, and then retracted and apologized
for, an article that claimed Trump adviser Anthony Scaramucci was
the subject of a Senate investigation for his ties to Russian
bankers. Three key members of CNN's investigative team resigned
on Monday for their role in the retracted story. Lichtblau, the
executive editor who co-authored the botched Comey story, was
among those who resigned.

CNN producer, John Bonifield, said that Trump was "probably
right" that the Trump-Russia story was a "witch hunt."

CNN president Jeff Zucker ordered the company's focus "back to
Russia" a day and a half after Trump pulled out from the Paris
climate accords.

CNN commentator Van Jones described the Trump-Russia story as a
"big nothingburger."

CNN producer Jimmy Carr said American voters are "stupid as shit".

Even though every one of the previous 44 managed to avoid dissing their predecessor like Orange Julius does.

So what if Cupp is a conservative commentator?
Most of the conservative commentators are furious
that Donald Trump is now President Donald Trump.

You suck to CNN and NBC as they ponder Russia, Obstruction, Resistance,
Move Forward, and Fight, Fight, Fight.

The rest of us will live in the real world and leave the hateful and mean
to the land of make believe and conspiracies on the Democrat's media
outlets.

You realize that all Democrats seem to every one else in America to be
petulant, angry, very violent, lying, pouting klowns. All the stations
you watch and view and read create absolutely fake stories with not one
ounce of honesty required any longer.

I'm amazed, XY, I really am amazed that you have been reduced to relying
on outlets that have fallen so hard to inform yourself. Thank goodness
for Breitbart, a real news organization with hard hitting real reporters,
for exposing CNN for trying to harm Trump and the what they call the
white trash addicts for voting him into office.

New York Post:

| We're told CNN flew into a panic on Friday after it accidentally
| aired a fake National Enquirer cover during Jake Tapper's
| broadcast.
|
| Tapper did a segment on his "The Lead" show about Joe Scarborough
| and Mika Brzezinski's claim that Donald Trump tried to blackmail
| them with a hit piece in the National Enquirer.
|
| During the piece, it showed a cover from the tabloid, which
| seemed to be about a scandal involving GOP senator Ted Cruz and
| his wife, Heidi Cruz.
|
| Unfortunately, the cover is — literally — fake news.

In fact, the cover never appeared on the National Enquirer.
