Yes, that wannabe dynasty. If they can keep their QB healthy, they
might have something going for them. Dynsaty hype is easy to
generate. The NFL, the team and the media are pros at generating it.

The Niners have a lot to prove this year. They are thin on experience
and performance in every aspect of the game. I just hope the offseason
hype about Hoyer and the receivers means something good for the
offense. The QB and the receivers were rarely on the same page last
year.

The media would like you to believe that, but in the end, it doesn't.

The comparison to Roberto Clemente is preposterous. During the off season,
Clemente dedicated himself to helping the underprivileged of his native
country. During the season he dedicated himself to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Very true. He could have a job if he made some effort. He's also stated that he's not interested in playing. Fine, he's stated his view and that's fine. Then it becomes a matter of the public and the media beating a dead horse for attention.

Steve Young surprised Colin Kaepernick remains unsigned

All the talent in the world doesn't get a QB another job if he doesn't
demonstrate interest. QB's have always been polarizing for different
reasons, but they also demonstrated interest in doing the job, putting
time in to learn and to get better.
