Awesome Giants <Giants@sf.giants>: Jul 17 07:08AM

OMG. I nailed it! The genius has spoken. :-D

But of course, in a few days Cain will replace Cueto as our 2nd half
ace! Sometimes the irony is hilarious. What can you do except laugh?
LOL.

Cain is our ace. That's the Giants season in a nutshell.

D Rays sent scout to see Giants' Strickland pitch in San Diego. So,
will Strickland be joinging wayne's bowling team soon?

Maybe the Duffman too, when he comes off DL. That would be *some*
bowling team!

So, when it seems likely that Cueto will be traded in the next 2 weeks,
he goes on the disable list, possibly lowering his trade value.

And now that the Astros have shown interest in Samardzija, who has been
very good for 2 months, suddenly stinks up the joint to a pathetic
offense, possibly lowering his trade value?

And of course, Belt just strained his wrist, possibly lowering his
trade value.

They're screwing with us, right?

Wow. I guess after taking a 2 month leave, Matt Cain's HR Derby Twin,
aka Samardzija, is back!

How the hell do you give up 7 runs in 3 innings in a pitcher's park to
one of the worst offense in baseball with guys like these in the
lineup?

H. Sanchez .191 BA
Blash .195 BA
Szczur .198 BA

Yeah, these guys blow out the Giants.

4 hits, 4 runs, 4 earned runs, 1 BB 1 K 1 HR Didn't take him long
to rise to his level of mediocrity. That was just the bottom of the
1st inning. This is against a team as bad as, or worse than the
Giants.

Giants 0 Padres 4

Nice to see Buster continuing to hit as he strokes a double to left.
Crawford doubles him in and the Giants get on the scoreboard. Hundley
strikes out, Panik strikes out and GM Hernandez walks. Samardzija
takes one pitch to end the rally.

Hector Sanchez continues to feast on Giants pitching. 2 hits so far.
Samardzija gets another K and he celebrates by giving up ANOTHER
FUCKING HOME RUN! His formerly large ERA is now a bloated 5.00. If
the Astros are truly doing their homework on Samardzija, this should
turn them in another direction.

Giants still stuck on an awesome total of 5 hits.

Crick in for Samardzija. Giants might come up a "little" short today.

Giants 1 Padres 7 (Nice headline about going for the series win)

On a more humorous note, "Mark Melancon continues to throw off flat
ground but there's no timetable for his return."

Bit in the ass by another Sanchez. Gearrin didn't have to put the ball
where Sanchez could get a good shot at it. It doesn't matter if they
steal signals, as long as the pitcher has good control.
