I think I heard Evans say that Bumgarner, Posey, and Crawford are untouchable . Everyone might need to have a suitcase nearby. I'm not sure about Crawford anymore. Having a lousy year.

Close pitch and it could have indeed been a ball. but it had been called a strike already on other hitters. and certainly better than a few called strike 3's that have broken giants rallies. Osuna ends up walking instead, making the bases loaded. Before the giants can get the third out 4 runs score. Yes one little call can make a huge difference. Something is just seriously wrong with this giants team.

How bout that bullpen putting it away for the Marlins? Cueto's
location was lousy at times and he rans up a high pitch count. He left
the bullpen a mess and they made it worse.

Giants tie the game one Miguel Gomez's first major league hit.

You watch Gomez at bat. He's got the right stance, a good eye and a
sweet swing. He's a keeper and a starter.

Whoa, Kontos comes completely unglued and gives up honme runs to Ellis
and Stanton. If it isn't the starting pitching, it's the lack of
hitting or it's the bullpen. This team knows how to lose ball games.

Tomlinson triples and comes home on a Gillaspie ground out. Promoting
a lame .161 hitter back from Sacmo isn't a good sign. Panik walks and
Pence has a chance to tie the game. No, he just ends the game, 2 runs
short.

In the bottom of the 8th. I was upset by Posey swinging at 3-0 in the middle of a 5 hit rally and grounding out to third with no runner advancement. If he had just taken the walk and the inning proceeded the same way, Span's fly would have been the sac fly, and we would have won the game in the 9th. Also when Crawford makes one of his rare errors, it always seems to end in runs, especially when it happens late in a game. Ellis hit his first home run ever on an 0-2 count. His first 0-2 count homer that is. Crawford has helped his team many times out of jams, but a late inning error on his part, even if it is the lead off guy, they never seem to be able to get out of the inning without giving up runs. It is as if, Crawford made an error so it is time for all of us to fall apart. We have a guy like Crawford, batting about 100 points lower than Posey, with less dingers, yet he has a bunch more RBI. Glad he is getting his RBI's but Posey has to get his.

Posey was out of the lineup with a bad back, Wayne. They tied the
game and had a chance win until Kontos threw the game away.

The Giants gave him a 2 run lead in the bottom of the 2nd, he gave
those runs right back in the top of the 3rd. He gave up the lead in
the top of the 5th and the Giants tied it in the bottom of the 5th.

3 earned runs, 4 walks, 2 K's, 1 HR pitch count of 98 in the top of
the 7th. He starts the 7th with a walk and a double, talks to Righetti
and walks the next batter on 7 pitches. Bases loaded, none out and
this is going to hurt the Giants one way or the other. Oh Okert!

Oh yes, it only two pitches to do it. Bour singles and in come 2 runs.
Soooo, out goes Okert in comes "Pour Gas on the Fire" Strickland to
give up another run. A sac fly later, one more run to make sure the
Giants don't win this game.

The Giants come roaring back and score single run in their half of the
7th. Not sure what Bochy's point is in bringing in Cain to pitch to
the last batter in the top of the 8th. 10 pitches and he walks Ozuna.
Walks Bour intentionally to load the bases and gets the 3rd out and
the Giants have two innings left to catch up. Bwhahahaha!
