Maybe...

'RUSSIAN MILITARY INTELLIGENCE executed a cyberattack on at least one
U.S. voting software supplier and sent spear-phishing emails to more
than 100 local election officials just days before last November's
presidential election, according to a highly classified intelligence
report obtained by The Intercept.

The top-secret National Security Agency document, which was provided
anonymously to The Intercept and independently authenticated, analyzes
intelligence very recently acquired by the agency about a months-long
Russian intelligence cyber effort against elements of the U.S. election
and voting infrastructure. The report, dated May 5, 2017, is the most
detailed U.S. government account of Russian interference in the election
that has yet come to light.'

'The Republican-controlled House Intelligence Committee asked U.S. spy
agencies late last year to reveal the names of U.S. individuals or
organizations contained in classified intelligence on Russia's meddling
in the 2016 election, engaging in the same practice that President Trump
has accused the Obama administration of abusing, current and former
officials said.

The chairman of the committee, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), has since
cast the practice of "unmasking" of U.S. individuals and organizations
mentioned in classified reports as an abuse of surveillance powers by
the outgoing Obama administration.'

...where there are no nominees:

'Four months into his presidency, Donald Trump has filled only five of
the 53 top jobs at the Pentagon – the slowest pace for nominations and
confirmations in over half a century.'

'"In the vetting process there is a lot of scrutiny of social media
accounts, Twitter . . . any hint of something negative about Trump as a
candidate can be disqualifying, and a lot of people haven't made it
through that filter," said Christine Wormuth, who served as the
Pentagon's top policy official from 2014 to 2016, under former President
Barack Obama's administration.'

Is this a useful club for the mid-handicapper (upper 80s)?

I'd say no.

My index has been as low as 9 (point something), and there were
definitely times where even a 60 degree wedge wasn't something I could
hit well.

Everyone's different. YMMV.

A little proof for the billion comment please, and the cost of
reducing emissions by 28% are well worth it.

So you've read one opinion piece written by a right-wing
pundit who doesn't know anything about climate change and
your mind is made up.

You've proven that you can't be shown anything. First you need an IQ
over the square root of -1.
