This mom's viral tweets about her son's medical bills show what's at stake if the ACA is repealed

Houston is doing okay, but fracking has brought a lot of new players. They'll get bought up as the big boys catch up.

Obama's fault.

That $ goes to Mr McGuire.

Mr. McGuire: I just want to say one word to you. Just one word.
Benjamin: Yes, sir.
Mr. McGuire: Are you listening?
Benjamin: Yes, I am.
Mr. McGuire: Plastics.
Benjamin: Exactly how do you mean?

...a little further South than Houston - more in the rural areas.

With Trump they might reverse a few pipelines from the east and
fracking will explode.

I'm sure you know what a "tendon" is.

I rec'd a message today from a customer at his car dealership who
complained that the "tendon" didn't wait on him immediately. Go figure.

It's not quite as good as the Redskins in the state of Washington, though.

>I've always heard the IT field in general is one in which layoffs or downsizing(or age discrimination) is a possibility.

Technology requires constant traning as much as your profession does.
People get left behind.

Age discrimination has always been a factor. In a competitive world
why should an employer retain an underperforming person? Of course I
agree that loyalty is a consideration. Although I worked at a major
corporation it was very family-oriented.

I hired a number of single mothers regardless of age because they had
to be loyal employees and earn a living. It worked very well since
almost all of them retired.

But I tend to regard many laws as suggestions.

You are due a raise. Let them know.

They tried to save money and lost.
If they keep trying to save money
by short-changing you they are
making the same mistake. Dress it
up and you'll be in clover.

I am not as sure as you about the common ground and bipartisanship.

No sensible health care act or rejection of unentitled/unearned
benefits will be acceptable to those who view you as a golden goose.

There is no concensus or common ground on gun control, abortion,
religious and charter schools - or any major difference in policy.

If anything happens for the betterment of the country the GoP needs to
find a common ground and run roughshod over the liberals.

Then get at least one more young conservative appointee on the SCOTUS.
Then hope that interpretation of the law replaces personal bias in
decision-making on both sides.
