With all the Trump vitriol Isn't it amazing that libs have lost both

Bama is favored by 5 over FSU.

Blacks are not ALL on welfare and do not commit ALL crimes there. A
few more freebies from libs and they might gain that distinction and
make you look less an idiot. B'ham is the closest to being the
exception by what I read.

The Confederate Monuments are still standing at most court houses -
but no damnyankee ones.

Republican state conventions are too large to be held in a phone booth
any more.

Apparently cows eat liberals and leave the piles in pastures.

You can still get grits almost anywhere in the state - usually whether
you want them or not.

That should hold you for awhile.

Anywhere from blindingly ignorant disbelief in the basics of CO2 effects on the atmosphere to full acceptance of nearly every climate claim but solid in the belief that government is not the solution and the right will welcome you with open arms.

> Take out climate change and insert pretty much any issue and the above break down seems about right - the current schism between parties seems to be a gov't based top-down approach on the left and a bottom up free market approach from the right (Altho I really wish there was more of the free market stuff from the right)

Scams transcend party boundaries.
Anthropomorphic global warming is a scam.
Some large corporations are for it.
Progressives are for it to a degree where
they want to hand out prison sentences for disagreeing.

I agree with most everything you say. People make choices.

One guy chooses a profession irrespective of financial
statistics. Later he can choose to make more money at it.
The statistics do not say he cannot.

Another guy first chooses based on finances. Later he can
choose to make his career more interesting to him.

even live in the district.

And lose. Against a rather weak gop candidate.

The rather weak gop candidate actually outperformed trump. So much for all that supposed rage from the electorate. lmao....

the dems have a serious serious problem in finding candidates. The fact that they resorted to an unemployed 30 year old as the best candidate in what was a virtual dead heat district between trump and Hillary and then threw 25 mill behind him proves that.

Even if the gop becomes more unpopular(a big if but possible), the dems still actually have to find credible candidates who the public doesn't want to vomit at. And they can't seem to do that.
