Awesome Giants <Giants@sf.giants>: Jun 29 08:42AM

Hwang! Game winner in his 1st game!
"benf802961@aol.com" <benf802961@aol.com>: Jun 29 07:10AM -0700

Mike Schmidt has arrived.
Jon Rossen <jonr17@comcast.net>: Jun 28 01:16PM -0700

Today, on this Wed. day game they'll have to lose so badly and in such a
humiliating fashion that it will emotionally counteract anything
positive from the previous two games. They'll just throw it back as if
they can't handle any success at all. It's foreign to them. It seems
to make them feel uneasy.

Note Bochy has put together a 'white-flag lineup on steriods' for this
effort. Note also that the Rockies pretty much have all their usual
starters in this one. You look at the Giants lineup and you scratch
your head and just want to throw up.

They won again, jon! Hwang started his MLB career with 2 RBI's, a
home run and Slater finally got his first MLB hit.

The only Giants who looked uneasy was Blach. He committed 2 throwing
errors, but got the win. Bullpen was great for the 2nd straight
night. The only starter who didn't get a hit was Belt and there's
nothing new about that. :)

Slater is a .330 hitter. Ryder Jones is still hitless.

I'm taking Earnest Ragging credit for today's win, and essentially the
entire sweep.

good job on the perfect earnest ragging. Almost didn't work. But then the first inning was over. Blach often lets the leadoff batter get on, and then pitches out of trouble. Not just this game but even on his better pitched games. Perhaps he is better from the stretch and should just consider pitching from the stretch all the time.

Huh? Mr. Dumb is proving what he is again. :-D
John Walsh <jwalsh589@gmail.com>: Jun 28 12:07PM -1000

Buster gets the day off so Hwang and Hundley lay on the lumber for the
Giants, driving in all 4 runs for the Giants.

Blach last 6. innings and threw 110 pitches, so he struggled some and
gave up 3 runs. He also committed both Giants errors.

Giants 4 Rockies 3

2 innings to go.

Blach gets the win, Strickland gets the save, 2 more runs and Slater
finally gets his first MLB hit. Three straight wins!

Giants 5 Rockies 3

You can't go wrong with Hwang

Uh, Blach only gave up 1 earned run, Mr. Dumb.

Wow! I'm bristling with excitement over Hwang. I'm sure he'll be a good
addition and fit right into today's weak-ass white flag lineup.

Haha. We'll give this one to you. A sweep with Samardzija and Cain
pitching 2 of the games *is* a miracle. :-D

Hwang is the catalyst the Giants needed!

WTF is it with baseball and the bums this year?

Grandal makes an error in the bottom of the 9th costing the dodgers the game. Goes from hero to goat in 10 minutes. Yes.

who da thunk.
John Walsh <jwalsh589@gmail.com>: Jun 28 01:49PM -1000

Melancon isn't going to get better with rest. They should shut him
down and put and end to hs season. He might need more surgery on his
arm because the throwing he's doing will only keep irritating it.

They didn't learn their lesson with Cain, they'd better wiith
Melancon.

Slania got sent down from AAA to AA because he was doing poorly. SF,
might not be the best place for him

Hitting .237 so not exactly ready for the time ... but the power is
nice to see (videos on the page)
