No breadsticks either. Still pitiful though.

6-2. Fearsome tennis from Rafa and he still has a gear or two unused.
Djok has lost the fastest groundstrokes in top 10.

Better stop playing the sitar and focus on the band.

Even assuming that Pepe Imaz
dude is a superb guy, which I won't
debate, he's still some kind of a spiritual healer, transcendence
stuff.

Djokovic is a tennis pro and a warrior. Very down to earth needs.
So he's holding to a wrong type of person at the moment to guide
him. At this stage of his life and his career. If he does not see
that, well, it's a serious situation for him.

His father should act, imo.

IF, and who really knows, but if Nole's as much 'into' self-enlightenment as he is being a professional tennis player, well, he's going to find it ROUGH out there at the very elite/championship level... because without absolute commitment and focus to all the detailing that makes for a champion's routine/technical facility of play/performance, you just cannot contend...

He'll need to make decisions soon... decisions that lay down principles and routines and connections... he'll need to order the experimental chaos of his mind - IF he wants to remain at the top of the tennis world...

Since Nole's into life coaching and self-enlightenment as much as tennis these days... Rafa's teaching Nole: Every day is a new day!

Funny that you assume I still need to be. This is weak stuff from you Whisp. Much easier to just admit that you were wrong. Everyone makes mistakes. It's only people with character flaws that can't own up to it.

You mean for all "intents and purposes." And no, it isn't. Are you sure there are schools in Australia, or is this just a Whisper issue?

There are schools in Australia but in the school nearest to Whisper's household is a kindergarten, that is where Whisper gained his education.

Not really. Career slams tend to come in droves...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Slam_(tennis)#Career_Grand_Slam

Also, I think it's perfectly normal for greats to get a career slam.
Likes of Borg & Lendl also should have gotten one.

Obviously bob does not know how to count. Federer started his peak in 2004 and Djokovic ended his current peak in 2016. That is a 12 years stretch not 7 years stretch. Learn some maths bob

I don't deny Fed's tennis talent at all. In pure tennis terms he has to
be top 15, maybe top 10. Easily the most talented of this era, bar Stan
on his hottest days.

And I do like it a lot. I've seen "The Shootist" a few times. John Wayne finished his career with a winner. I really like "Excalibur" as well.

Well, Trump's proposal would have been devastating, even you should be
able to see that. Same trend, and in 4 years: no NIH.

In the case of Obama (or the Congress during the period), keeping the
absolute value on a steady path poses no *immediate* threat to anybody.
In 50 years, maybe.

Kimmel is SO right again. His children were in the crosshairs.

That's rich. Who's the one caught with his pants down? Again.

Of course of course. The whole concept of relating NIH funding to the
GDP was fishy as hell from the get go. Total US government spending and
GDP growth don't go hand in hand in general, why should it go hand in
hand in the particular case of the NIH?

NIH/GDP is just a way to make the numbers look worse than they are. Too
bad you can't see that the same mechanism will make the Trump numbers
look bad too. Not to mention the numbers Trump would dearly have wanted.

But as much as unlikely it is, wouldn't an easy win over Nadal, at

It showed he's not losing to anyone on hardcourt other than the GOAT. This is very different from his hc results the past 6/7 years, where he hardly made any hc finals. Plus so far he's not losing to anyone on clay, period... Meaning he's back to his very best.
