That wasn't his claim.

Nope.

Your claim is that the existence of a grand jury means the investigation
is over.

That's just not so.

Your brain is fried. I never made such a claim. NEVER.

On the contrary. There is no grand jury in session yet...just like
the link states. You are an mirror image of Trump. Wild ideas, lies,
statements that defy sensibility and just plain whacked out.

I think there are many factors, including loyalty. However, subversion
of an ongoing investigation makes no sense.

I also think the Left is being hypocritical.

Then why are the immediately looking to replace McCabe?

No. It wasn't his claim. Weird how you always snip out what you just
said when you do this, huh?

That's the point: the investigation ISN'T at the grand jury.

The grand jury is being used to FACILITATE the ongoing investigation by
the issuance of subpoenas.

Get a wig asshole. An hour away from trolling won't hurt.

I'll wait until I can read the full report, with expert analysis,

Reason being that one *can* make any deal quite quickly if the
specific terms are that you're giving away the Ranch.

Whereupon "They fooled us!" will become the likely defense claim. /S

Your cite completety contradicts your claims that the
investigation was going on because the grand juries haven't been
assembled.

Completely validates my statements. Good job moron.

Nothing there validates your lie that the investigation was complete
and the case was going to the GJ.

Lies upon lies.

You are a very little man, a trump-pet.

My claim was that Comey being fired does not compromise an
investigation that is already at the grand jury.

"...many people used Comedy Central as their news source"

That's as stupid as saying anyone uses vivaliberty.com as a news source.

Yup. Nailed it:

'Yet reports suggest that the White House is now looking for an
alternative interim director to replace McCabe, rather than keeping him
in place until a new Director is named and confirmed. This would be a
grave mistake, for the converse of all reasons that McCabe's current
placement as interim director is so important. It would create the
perception that the nation's lead law enforcement agency is no longer to
act with independence, raise even more questions about the future of the
Trump-Russia probe, and send exactly the wrong message to the FBI's rank
and file.'

<https://www.justsecurity.org/40875/president-trump-replace-andrew-mccabe/>

'Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod
Rosenstein were interviewing four candidates Wednesday to serve as
interim FBI director, following the firing of James Comey.

Through the normal line of succession, Comey's deputy Andrew McCabe
became acting director after President Trump fired Comey, but now,
according to a Justice Department official, the attorney general is
considering other people to do that job until Trump names and the Senate
confirms a new FBI director.

According to the official, Sessions spoke with McCabe Tuesday night and
he is "also under consideration." But statute allows the president to
choose an interim FBI director outside of the standard order of
succession, and that process is underway.'

I guess they keep searching for a "reliable" replacement...

Alan Baker <alangbaker@telus.net>: May 12 10:07AM -0700

Seriously: Trump is an idiot.

He bragged about having a "top" law firm draft a letter to state he had
no business dealings with Russia, and all he did was make it worse for
himself:

'BREAKING: Trump lawyer: Tax returns from past 10 years show no "income
of any type from Russian sources," with few exceptions.'
