I caught a nice bass one time. I don't know what the fish weighed but
the picture weighed 9 pounds. I measured it at 9" (between the eyes).

I taught it to walk with me but crossing a creek one day it fell in
the water and drowned.

Trump makes one bad mistake in my opinion. His attitude, not his
reactions, should be I am the president - up yours.

Confrontation is for primaries - stabbing liberals in the back
silently is presidential if that is the only side they have.

Read the article itself. Read it slowly and much will be revealed
even though most of us cannot understand many of the details. It
is an account of computer simulations for the purpose of gaining
insight into paths to stability. Trying to use the observations
to build a model of the system as it is leads to computer models
that quickly go unstable. The reason is that many orbital
parameters are not obseved accurately enough. The authors try and
succeed in reaching the observed resonances from a protoplanetary
disc. I'd like to copy and paste from the article but the result
is so bad I might as well type it in.

Newt Gingrich said, "Trump is dancing on the quick sand of the swamp." and I think he's right.
President Trump needs to shift gears entirely, stop battling with the left wing media and focus on the positives that he and his administration are accomplishing. Attracting new businesses and jobs to America, writing better Trade deals, cutting red tape, replacing Obamacare, implementing major tax reform, defeating Islamic terrorism and securing our borders.

He should introduce his Cabinet and sub-cabinet leaders and have them explain their priorities, objectives and accomplishments. That is what the American people care about and that is why they voted for President Trump and the Republicans.

The left wing media, liberal elites, Soros funded radical hate groups, violent protestors and professional racists are never going to give President Trump a fair chance. These are people in deep, deep denial and filled with hatred and resentment. They just cannot accept the fact that Hillary lost the election. So now, their sole focus is trying to destroy the President. They have no interest in the country, the economy or the well being of the American people. For them, it is "resist and destroy" President Trump at any cost.

The only way Trump can over come this unbridled left wing hatred is with positive accomplishments that benefit the country and the American voters. If he does that, he will put Republicans in a strong position to win some of the 25 Democrat Senate seats that are up for grabs in 2018, and win a second term in 2020.

The GOP 'leadership' is doing their best to destroy Trump but sitting back and condoning his likely illegal acts. Not a peep from 90% of them.

One needs to be sure that it is a killing blow when one strikes at a king.

I can say Trump is a clown, of course. If you are in a poltical party,
you have to be careful what you say. That's why you only hear the few like
McCain and Paul, who don't have any real power anyway (except with their
swing votes).

Note that few have spoken out against Obama, even when he was gutting the
nationwide Democratic Party with his actions.

By the way, here's the view of Democrats 4 years or so ago:

Is that all there is to it?

My dad once told me that Sullivans liked the taste of whiskey better
than any other taste. His only advice was you will master it or it
will master you.

The idea that someone other than me would control me was unacceptable.
One thing always held me back - I did not gracefully accept being
bossed by inferiors in superior positions until I passed them. I don't
understand lack of pride and self-confidence. Yet one d-i-l was magna
cum laude at Vandy in Math and Comp Sci but has little self-confidence
and she comes from a wealthy family, upward social circle. She can
cook, make drapes and do car repair after reading the instructions
(before they both had Mercedes).

Growing up around me I'm not surprised that our sons and grandsons
have pride - maybe a little surprised at their complete
self-confidence. Some people you can't beat down just because you make
it a little tougher.

I don't drug and I don't have to drink because someone else does. I
remember drinking a coke after bowling when everyone else was having
an alcoholic beverage.

Why are so many people so weak? Is it because we lack personal
responsibility?

Houston, we have a problem.

Most cemeteries have maintenance crews to repair that sort of thing
and will bill. They might also be able to advise about insurance.

The stone for my wife's grandparents in AL was broken in half by some
youngsters years ago. The city did the repairs without charging us.
All I wanted was for the culprits to be turned over to me but they
were never caught.

>Where is the lie? It was enacted in 1986 under Reagan.

Everyone has always had access to healthcare since the 40s at least to
my personal knowledge. You might think that black people in the South
did not - BUT THEY DID. They might get cut up on Saturday night but
they got treatment. I don't know exactly where they went but I still
don't see any in doctor's offices now - what has changed?

Go back to 1900 and people often medicated themselves because there
was no doctor or hospital near their rural community. But people can
still point out where the old doctorr's house was and he made house
calls - even in my youth.

Now if you want opiods go to different doctors and get hooked with
multiple prescriptions. I threw more than half my hydrocodone away
after bypass surgery because I was scared of it. It was better to hurt
just a little. I used to think everybody did that.

Health care was affordable in the 40s - you paid with vegetables if
you didn't have cash. If you had neither you still got treated.
Doctors offices were a doctor and a nurse. Now they are a doctor, nurse
and about 5 people to do government paper work.

Doctors are shortening their work week, limiting new patients
especially government insured and forming groups in the large cities
for a regular monthly fee to make house calls 24/7/365. You pay cash
up front and file personally if you have insurance.

The problem with so many people now is they think they invented the
wheel when all they are doing is trying to find a better shape than
round.

Those were the good old days - the problem is that people can't handle
them anymore. People like me have raised the screwup generation.

Why is it a lie? I have called him a liar about his military service
and he has yet to prove he isn't. I don't think he can run far enough
to hide.

I appreciate you asking in such a non-confrontational way that I could
respond without overly abusing anyone.

Hugh
