Bochy's newest lineup:

Panik, Belt, Pence, Posey, Morse, Arroyo, Nunez, Hernandez, Cain

When you have holes in the batting order like Morse, Nunez and
Hernandez ... put them near the end of the order.

Pitcher didn't pitch, batters haven't done much and that adds up to

Giants 2 Reds 9

Cain 9 runs, 9 earned runs, no home runs, 2 's
Still a single digit team against Arroyo, a 6.60 pitcher.

LOL. That's how a cain fanboy describes a pathetic Cain outing. If it
were any other pitcher, he would've used very different words. :-D

Forgot about the bullpen contributing. They must not have been
motivated by the score. 16 hits? No headline more aptly describes
what the Reds did to the Giants. "Reds heat up at the plate, ironm
Giants" Osich is the only pitcher that didn't give up a run.

Cain 9
Gearrin 1
Morris 2 (22.50 ERA?)
Strickland 1

In the 2nd month of the season, Cain finally got his 1st test of the
season, and it's been ugly from the start.

Cain is making Neil Ramirez look like an all star.

Cain gave up 9 runs in just 3.1 innings, and it could've been much
worse, but the Reds kept running into outs, saving Cain a couple of
runs/outs.

2nd inning, Votto at 2B, Schebler singled, Votto got thrown out at home
by Gorkys, saving Cain at least 1 run, probably more.

4th inning, 2 on and no out, Suarez hit one off the wall, but somehow
the Reds ended up with 2 runners on 2B, giving Cain another free out.

Neither of these outs were due to Cain's good pitching.

OK, giving up 10 hits and 9 runs is probably not that surprising for
Cain, but how do you walk *6* guys in 3 innings? Unbelievable!

I fully expected Cain to have a bad game at Cincy, but didn't expect
such a catastrophe. The Red might have scored 20+ runs had Cain not
been pulled.

Is this just Cain back to normal, or is it just a one time thing?

A saving grace for Cain's fanboys - he didn't give up any HR. Good job!
:-)

The Red did NOT score in the 7th! Giants pitching put up *1* zero on
the board! Amazing pitching!
Awesome Giants <Giants@sf.giants>: May 06 02:55AM

Morris is picking up right where Cain left off. It's now 12-3.

I hope he doesn't end up as Cain Jr.
Awesome Giants <Giants@sf.giants>: May 06 02:44AM

Pence at 1B, Posey ripped a double down the line, Pence may or may not
have scored on that play under normal circumstances, but thanks to
Cain's mess, there was no point of taking any risk in a 10-2 game, and
he was held at 3B.

Gillaspie, the next batter, ended up with an easy groundout RBI. Posey
moved to 3B.

The next batter, Arroyo, couldn't come through, stranded Posey at 3B.
Awesome Giants <Giants@sf.giants>: May 06 02:32AM

Arroyo picked a great time to make an error, since that run likely
wouldn't matter after the big mess that Cain has made, unless the
Giants bats suddenly go crazy.
