John Walsh <jwalsh589@gmail.com>: Apr 30 01:25PM -1000

I guess it was Kontos's turn to fuck up and lose the game. Bochy has
been making some very questionable decisions and none rings truer than
leaving Kontos in for 2 innings.

So, now it comes down to a zombie batting order making up 3 runs and
scoring a 4th in the bottom of the 12th to win the game. Any bets?

I hate to say this about our hall of fame manager, but if he continues to screw up, he may at some point find is otherwise safe job, in jeopardy.

Sure you do, wayne. Everyone in this ng knows you hate Boch more than
anyone in this ng does. You blame him for everything for years.
Besides Posey, Boch is probably #2 on your hater list. So don't bother
leading with "I hate to say this" when talking about Boch or Posey; we
know you love it. :-)

LOL. Did I predict that or what? It's like clockwork. I *knew* it'd
happen when draft day comes around. Even after I called it out one
week ahead, so you'd think he'd love to prove me wrong and be extra
careful, right? Yet it *still* happened. Stupidity has no cure.
Hahahahaha...

With that said, looks like York might be on the path to redeem himself.
His hirings and the draft both look good so far.

Apparently pitching to him is even worse.

That's what happens when your starter only goes 5 innings. In inning #
6 or before, you get guys like Stratton and Ramirez. In innings #7 and
8 you might get Law and Strickland. Cain only gave up 1 run thru 5,
but his pitch count got too high.

10 days for a right knee sprain? 13-61 (.213) and a OBP of (.269)
Doesn't look like they're going to miss him, except for his 3 HR's.
He's got 4 errors to his credit, about par for Pablito.

That's the best way to earn his $20M/yr salary, by sitting on the couch
and watching tv, feeding more junk food to his enormous tummy. :-D

Could be a suck muscle. The Giants dodged a huge bullet there!

You're asking me? Haha. Wish I knew the answer. He probably did
something right in college. And it's too soon to tell. Let's wait a
few months. Panik sucked for a while before he started hitting.

> You know who was drafted after Arroyo? Aaron Judge.

Wow. 10 HRs in April? I don't think the entire Giants starting lineup
has 10 HRs. LOL.

Some guy playing for the Nats not named Harper just hit 3 HR, went 6
for 6, and drove in *10* runs today! Where can we get one of those???
It could take us a week to score 10 runs!

BTW, how's Adam Duvall doing these days? The Giants thought they hit
the jackpot with Duffy and traded Duvall away. LOL. Boy did I get
that one right! I said Duvall could kill it at Cincy, and he's killing
it alright.
Awesome Giants <Giants@sf.giants>: May 01 10:55AM

1) First of all, he could've made it thru April with only 1 blown save,
which would've been pretty good, but he just had to blow one on the
last day of the month. Now it looks much worse.

2) So his 2 blown saves came on the 1st game of the month and the last
game of the month. What are the odds?

3) His 1st blown save cost Bumgarner a win. His 2nd blown save cost
Blach, who is Bumgarner's replacement, a win. So all his blown saves
so far are at the same spot in the rotation. What are the odds?

Could the Casilla virus still be in the clubhouse?

Both Bumgarner and Blach can't seem to buy a win no matter how well
they pitch.

Blach, I know you're pissed, but please, don't get on a bike!
ariess@bellsouth.net: Apr 30 05:45PM -0700

Today Bour comes out, after having a hitting session with Mattingly and goes 4 for 5 with a home run. Giants need some serious hitting improvement and more timely pitching. Great game by Blach, ending up for naught.
John Walsh <jwalsh589@gmail.com>: Apr 30 10:47AM -1000

One look at that lineup and it'll make ya weep. With a chance to
score at least 1 run in the 2nd, Arroyo on 3rd and Panik on 1st,
Gorkys ***king Hernandez brings his .149 average to the plate makes
the 3rd out on 2 pitches.

Giants 0 Padres 0

Right now, Blach has the best BA in today's lineup at .333. He's also
pitched well thru the 3rd with only 1 hit allowed, 1 BB, 1 K. Not sure
if they'll make anything of Nunez' double. Pence had a chance and he
grounds out to 3rd. Classic LOB for the Giants.

3 hits thru the 3rd and a chance to break 6 hits today ... maybe.

Buster on 1st, none out. Morse does the Morse thing and strikes out.
Arroyo is a breath of fresh air and enthusiasm in the lineup, but he
goes right out and wipes out the scoring chance with DP to end the
inning. The dark cloud of the looming bullpen hangs over this game.

Panik singles, Gorky's Hernandez doubles and Blach sacrifices him
home. Yes, the Giants scored 1st and Blach has gone a very good 5
innings. If Bochy doesn't drill this game into the ground with the
bullpen, the Giants "might" win today.

Caution: They only got 5 hits through the 5th.

Wow, Morse doubles in Pence and the Giants add a run and jack up that
hit total to 6 HITS!

Giants 2 Padres 0

Bochy subs for Blach with Tomlinson and that means the bullpen is
coming in.

Unfucking believeable. Does the bullpen have a lottery system to see
who is giong to fuck up? This time Melancon to fucking .133 hitter
like Hector Sanchez for a 2-run homer!

Stuck with a lousy batting order, a zombie outfield, shoddy fielding
today and another horrible bullpen outing ... this time by Kontos, the
Giants lost of course. They hit the single digit hit plateau again,
stuck on 8.

3-5 today and it's not his fault the other clowns can't get on base to
be driven in. He's behind Nunez, Belt, Pence. Out of those three
clowns, only Nunez has gotten a hit.

You can't drive in runs with empty bases. The other zombie outfielder,
Drew Stubbs and his .125 BA is working the pitcher for a change and he
strikes out. Belt? 4 strikeouts!
ariess@bellsouth.net: Apr 30 03:37PM -0700

Giants going for the shut out in the ninth. Pads get on with an error.
Then a strike out. Hector Sanchez, prime candidate for a DP comes up, but wait, Ex giant hector Sanchez hitting 071, hits a long bomb to tie up the game, off our closer who we got just to avoid this type of thing. How does this crap keep happening to the giants. This was not Stratton, or Ramirez, it was Melancon. The team continues to do whatever it can do not to win. This time Bochy made the right move it did not work. Nice game by Blach.

I went to get lunch and I come back to a 2-2 tie? Now I know why.
It's bad enough what Melancon did, but putting Strickland in? The
Giants' batteres are worn out after 7 hits Wayne. What will they do?

It was pleasant and it was even better watching a team hit. Something
hard to come by when you watch the Giants.
