Pablo is on DL..again
ariess@bellsouth.net: Apr 29 08:06PM -0700

If he were on the giants, he would have taken the swing and missed. Instead he takes the walk. Giants against the worst pitching team in the N.L. who hits almost as poorly as the giants, and should during the long season hit worse than the giants. just comes back and scores as will. Giants need to make adjustments.

They need to get rid of Stratton and Ramirez and might think about
firing whomever wrote that article about how good the bullpen has been
doing.

Have you seen a sequence of relief pitching as piss poor as what
Stratton and Ramirez just did? While you're at it, what the hell was
Bochy doing while all this happened? SLEEPING?

The score has changed a bit. It's 9-3 Padres

now 12-4, one should not be fooled by Ramirez's strike out, he gets them inbetween walks, hits, and long dingers. Seems other teams have no problem reaching the seats against us. Giants hit very few long balls at home. I thought both Posey earlier in the game, and Panik. last inning, (Panik with two on and two outs) were called out on pitches that were not even close.

Two singles, two runners on and Gorkys Hernandez leaves them there
with a line out. The team just isn't hitting and other than two hits
here and two hits there, there are big zeros in between.

What possible adjustments can they make to the atrocious bullpen? At
least today, the starting pitching was good.

1 run, 4 hits and 7 strikeouts is a good line. Then it plunges
straight down the drain when the bullpen entered the game.
ariess@bellsouth.net: Apr 29 08:54PM -0700

Pretty much means on average every team has about 3 guys with more RBI than our top guy.
John Walsh <jwalsh589@gmail.com>: Apr 29 05:22PM -1000

That was the single biggest case of mismanagement that I've seen from
Bochy.

He used the bullpen to give the Padres a 9-3 lead after the Giants
went up 3-1 in the 5. Stratton and Ramirez were completely
ineffective and he left them in despite their inability to get more
than one batter out before allowing .

Stratton and Ramirez torched the Giants for 8 ***king runs.

Guess Bochy didn't want to stress out the other pitchers so he left
Ramirez in the game. Not good results with that move, another
questionable decision that further screwed the Giants.

Don't let the bullpen take all the blame. As usual, most of the
hitters are on vacation.
John Walsh <jwalsh589@gmail.com>: Apr 29 04:16PM -1000

Padres string singles together and try a double steal that turns into
the 3rd out courtesy of Panik to Posey at home.

Giants 0 (1 f**king hit) Padres 1

They're making Chacin look like Cy Young with a 5.34 ERA. Gillaspie,
hitting .138 is the only player with a hit.

.312
.262
.345
.200

Cain may not truly get Cain'd today as he actually gets that run back
when Nunez singles home Gillaspie with the 1st Giants run. None out
until Stubbs takes his turn and lowers his average to .071. 1 more run
and he might win the game.

Tomlinson PH for Cain so Cain is out. Tomlinson singles, Nunez to 2nd.
Panik works Chacin for a walk and the bases are loaded, 1 out. Belt
singles, Nunez and Tomlinson score.

Giants 3 Padres 1

They put Stratton in the game and he fucking blows the lead! 2
singles, 1 double, a fielder's choice, another fucking single and he
walks the bases loaded.

WHY IN THE NAME OF HUMANITY DID BOCHY LEAVE HIM IN THE GAME?

Giants 3 Padres 3

Even better, they replace the clown with another clown, Neil Ramirez.
Sparkling ERA of 9.35

Ramirez walks in the next run and there's still only 1 out. That one
goes on Stratton's sheet, but Ramirez should be in Sacramento with
Stratton. Another single and what the hell, why not another run for
the Padres. MAYBE BOCHY WILL PULL HIM NOW?

Giants 3 Padres 5

Guess not ... coach visits the mound and you know what's coming next.
Groundout, another run down to the Padres.

Giants 3 Padres 6

Statistical bullshit being what it is, the pitful clown lowered his
ERA to 9.00 because of the runs going to Stratton.

AW FUCK THIS! He gives up a G** D** home run to Myers.

Giants 3 Padres 9

Wow, the Giants come roaring back with 1 run and ***king Ramirez is
still in the game. I guess giving up 3 runs means you get another
inning. No problem, he walks the 1st batter.

Stratton 13.50 ERA
Ramirez 11.17 ERA ... depending on what he does in the 7th

Yup, he decided that he's going to beat Stratton's line. Ramirez gives
up 3 more runs to put the game out of reach ... unless you're a
***king astronaut.

Giants 4 Padres 12

Ramirez did up his ERA to 13.06
ariess@bellsouth.net: Apr 29 08:03PM -0700

Just like in the minors, Stratton, can look like an ace, or he can look as if he does not belong. He has been a very inconsistent pitcher, sometimes with signs of looking like a stopper. Not tonight. Cain was pretty good. The team had 3 runs in, and two on and one out, and Posey and Morse hit weak fly balls to the outfield. Trying to do too much. Pads just hitting little singles and bloopers. Amazing how these bloopers just fall where nobody is. No luck for Cain. He finally gets some support, and the Pen screws up.

Why the hell did Bochy leave in Stratton for 6 batters and then makes things worse brings in good for nothing Ramierez? This lost is on Bochy.

I know the bullpen has been somewhere between bad and pathetic at
times, but this one just absolutely perplexes me. That and what the
hell Bochy thought he was seeing while they gave up run after run?

Why did they draft him then?

You know who was drafted after Arroyo? Aaron Judge.
