For more perspective, I looked o zillow and found that there are several homes in very close proximity to this one that are also in the $500-$600K range. One is $800K.. I think they are a grouo of cheeseheads looking for a sucker. Go just a couple of blocks away from Lambeau and the prices of comparable homes drop a a tad-- to the mid $100K range.

Personally I don't think it would be worth the $400K or more premium to live across the street from Lambeau. Then again, I'm bot a Packers fan...

Only reason to buy there would be A) to get cash from parking and B) rent the house out for weekends like last year w/ LSU

That's a tear-down and build a parking lot in its place.

I guess everything is local...there are smaller houses(with much much smaller lots/yards) in not much better shape that sold for more than that in my neighborhood.

Might not be able to - guessing the commercial restrictions in that area are heavily controlled

Even at that distance, it's only about $40.00 a car, from my experience. We were right behind the Hutson center for $30.00.

Hard to justify any of that including weekend stays for 8-9 nights per year.

To paraphrase an old Barney Frank line, asking the Republicans to govern is like asking Frank to judge the Miss America contest — "If your heart's not in it, you don't do a very good job."

From one of the most sanctimonius of the sanctimonius party, not
very surprising -- nor influential.

because now the push from the GOP and Trump going into tax cuts will be one that means business and will be all about coming together and making it happen.

Had trumpcare gone smoothly my concern would be that republicans might pat themselves on the back a bit and not be as determined to make sure tax cuts go through asap. But now with this setback, they know that they can't afford another loss and are going to be more determined than ever to put small differences aside and pass something big/good.

Which is a good thing for those of us who care about tax cuts 20x more than obamacare.

We must not read the same papers. My local bugle included the amount
of tax cuts based on replacement of the UnACA.

The UnACA remaining in place is further proof of the difficulty in
curing stupid.

there were tax cuts as part of this health care plan, but again it was a completely separate issue than the 'big tax cuts'.....

it's become something of a joke at this point.

MOST of the value in an nfl franchise now is tied up in one thing:

the willingness of cities/counties to hand them hundreds upon hundreds of millions of dollars every two decades or so. Thats where MOST of the value is.

If every 20 years someone is going to give you 600 million or so cash for free, of course your business is going to be worth a shitton.

It's a joke.

look at the raiders...they'd be crazy not to take the 750 million and move to Vegas. Thats 750 million dollars in cold hard cash that taxpayers are giving them.

The nfl isn't a business in any real sense of the word anymore. It's just a vehicle whereby rich men can raid city and county coffers to become much richer. And the worth of their asset is dependent on that ability.
