I was surveyed last week as it happens, asked to pull over by uniformed
officers and asked two simple questions by a bloke in a high vis jacket who
wasn't a policeman. Answered his questions, it took 2 minutes, no drama, no
fuss

I've also been pulled in the past year for a random vehicle check, again 5
minutes answering questions and I was away

I don't see the problem, I'm not so busy that I can't spare the time to
answer a few questions. And I do get a sense of satisfaction when I see
cars being towed away to be crushed and people detained for
questioning

The dickhead in the youtube link deserves all he gets. Typical behaviour
from someone who thinks they know the law and tries to make it a personal
crusade against an 'injustice', when actually they don't know what they're
talking about and they're just being a pain in the arse. A tad ironic given
the bloke's surname

I'm pretty sure the police will have marked his card and he'll get extra
attention when he's driving around the valleys.

Yes. A Democrat.

Democrats put crap out on their official web site like, "The
Democratic Party has been the party of civil rights for over a
century." No, they haven't. It is a lie.

Since most of the "mainstream media" is nothing more than Democratic
Party representatives with bylines, they cooperate in such
whitewashing. Unfortunately for the people they are "helping", not to
their advantage:

That is buried, and not up front at all. They are as intellectually
dishonest as you are, so you see nothing wrong with them failing to
mention that is a Democrat pursuing Democratic Party policy of the
time.

They are spinning the fact that Republicans were essentially unanimous
in support of the 1957 Civil Rights act, while Democrats were
substantially divided. Their second chart is a pinnacle of dishonesty,
with the "poison the well" argument of their map being a close
second.

It's too bad for black people that they let the Democrats, who had
held them back for so many years, back on charge of their destiny.
They proceeded to hurt black people immediately with the Great
Society. The policies that resulted slowed black economic growth
measurably. From 1930 to 1965, black wealth shot up at a huge rate.
Once the "war on poverty" took hold, it slowed and now is far less
than it is for other ethnic groups.
